Procreate shortcuts under one hand, over Bluetooth
01
What it does
- Pairs with an iPad over Bluetooth and acts as a keyboard and mouse.
- 8 keys with RGB lights, a 5-way ANO encoder and a CNC handwheel.
- 4 layers for Procreate: Draw, Tools, Select and Canvas.
- A small OLED shows the layer, what each key does and the Bluetooth status.
- A settings menu on the keys: switch layers, pair, disconnect, sleep and set the LED brightness.

How it’s built
- An nRF52840 board running CircuitPython, with two Adafruit NeoKey 1x4 boards, the encoder and the OLED on I2C.
- The whole layout lives in one config.py; save it on the board and the new layout is live.
- A browser config editor writes that file without touching code.
- A Makefile strips the comments and copies the firmware onto the board.
- The case is 3D-printed, with Pac-Man and ghost keycaps.
